In the beginning, the Earth was a void shrouded in darkness. God did not like this, so he said:
Let there be light!
And there was light. God separated the light from the darkness, and called them day and night. They passed, and the second day came
God said:
Let there be a dome in the waters, to separate the waters from waters.
And he created the dome. He separated the waters, making the waters above named the sky, and the ones below the sea. Day and night came, and it was the end of the second day.
Let the earth all kinds of plants and vegetation, and let the trees bear fruit.
On the third day, God created dry land, and named it Earth. He made all sorts of vegetation and plants spring from the ground and trees bear fruit. Morning and evening passed, and the fourth day came.
Let the waters under the sky gather together, and let land appear.
On the 4th day, God created the sun and moon to govern the day and night. They would mark days and nights, weeks and months, seasons and years to come. Day and night came, and the fifth day came.
Let the water teem with living creatures and let birds fly above the land across the vault of the sky.
On the 5th day, God created the birds of the sky and the creatures of the sky. He blessed them so that they would reproduce and fill the skies and seas with life. Day and night came, the 5th day.
