The Mountain Bet Part 1

- One day, Rabbit and Coyote meets up for a bet. Rabbit says, "I bet you my entire life that I, Rabbit, can make the biggest mountain in a range in all of America." Coyote thought about it, then agrees. Coyote's mouth waters at the thought of a roasted Rabbit. So, Rabbit heads East towards Colorado, Coyote goes South towards Virginia .
- When Coyote reached Virginia, he meets Moose. Coyote was panting and huffing and puffing, making Moose concerned. When Coyote catches his breath, he yells, "Moose! There is a whole village coming to exterminate your entire species! The only way to make your kind to survive is to jump off a cliff to make a wall of mountains! Please hurry, your people are waiting!"
- After hearing about the news, Moose immediately took off to a nearby cliff and ended his life. Coyote, laughed at his hardest, couldn't believe that Moose fell for his trick.
- The ground was shaking and Coyote looks behind him. Sure enough, out came out a mountain range. "I'll name this range, the Appalachian Range. Yeah, I like that. I like that alot actually!" His stomach growls, "Oh boy, I sure can't wait to get my paws on that rabbit!"
- Rabbit, in Colorado, felt the Earth shake. "Uh oh. Coyote finishes his mountain range, I'm not losing the bet or my life!" So he continued to find a herd of buffalo.
- Rabbit went to a fence, and sure enough, Rabbit found a herd of Buffalo. Rabbit, panting, says, "Buffalo! I have bad news, there is a nearby village that will gut all of you alive and sell you hide and meat! They will do that to every single one of you. All four of you have to jump off that cliff to make a mountain range big enough to separate you from the humans! Please, your species are in your hooves."
