Morse v. Frederick

On January 24th, 2002, a senior from Alaska by the name of Joseph Frederick was seen holding up a sign saying "BONGS HITS 4 JESUS", encouraging the use of drugs such as Marijuana. The main problem is that encouraging drug abuse was not wanted on the School campus. Therefore, the school pursued further actions.

The court was in favor of Frederick, as he didn't intentionally disturb or influence anyone n purpose. Additionally, Morse's lawsuit was unlawful, therefore Frederick won the case.
You held up a sign that encourages drug use! Why would I allow that?!
I didn't hurt anyone or disturb anyone! It's called freedom of speech ma'am!
Currently, after the Morse. Frederick Case, schools have enabled freedom of speech to all students. However, the school can take action if negative behavior is being promoted publicly.
