  • In 1854, the Kansas-Nebraska Act allowed settlers to decide on slavery by popular sovereignty, which angered many Northerners.

Recents events such as the Sack of Lawrence and the Pottawatomie Massacre, many homes have been destroyed and theres lots of tension. With two rival governments now claiming control, we can clearly seen how the violence continues to spread.
