Step one: Identify the problem
Does music effect plant growth?
Let me check if anyone has ever done this.
Step two: Research
So if there is classical music, the plant grows faster. I should post this online to share my data!
Step three: Make a hypothesis (an educated guess)
If we play music, then it the plant will grow faster. That's my hypothesis!

Step four: Experiment!

After a week...
Step five: Analyze Data
Wow! The plant with music grew more than the one without! This means that music does help with plant growth.
Step six/ seven: Make conclusion and communicate/ Retest.
When I post it online other people can see if they get to the same conclusion! I might also retest the experiment myself.
