Hi Class,I'm Jenniffer Zarate. I was born and raised in Ecuador and moved to the US about 9 years ago.
Growing up in Ecuador, I had English classes throughout school, but I never really learned it. I used to think I didn’t need it, but wow, was I wrong!
I've had a long but rewarding journey, and now I’m in my final semester to earn my bachelor's degree in International Business.

I never thought I was good at sports, but I was always involved in some way. When I was little, I was actually really good—I won several first-place medals in long jump and triple jump. In high school, I was on the tennis team and the bowling team (depending on whether you consider bowling a sport, haha!). I was also into music and played the violin for 10 years, but I eventually had to stop because of school and work. It just wasn’t a priority anymore.Since starting college, I've been working, so I’ve put my hobbies on hold for now. My focus is entirely on work and school at the moment.

I would love to meet Selena Gomez. I've always been a fan of hers. At first, it was her acting on Disney and her music that I loved, but now I admire her even more for the impact she’s made on mental health awareness. Mental health is really important to me, and seeing what she’s done in that area makes me respect her so much. If I ever got the chance to see her, even from a distance, I’d be incredibly happy.
