- The Winter at Valley Forge (1777)
- The winter at Valley Forge started fine. Until outbreaks started happening. Food was also scarce. It was very cold. Over 2/3 of the soldiers died over the winter.

- George Washington's Quarters
- Washington headquarters was where he stayed while at Valley Forge over the winter. But the house was not his. It was Issac Potts who was renting it at the time.

- Soldiers Quarters
- The soldier head quartes is where the soldiers would stay for mostly sleep. When the fist founded Valley Forge they had built these homes with logs. Each place took about a week to finish building.

- Problems Faced by the Soldiers #1
- One of the problems faced over winter was the supplies. The supplies included food and warmth. Over the winter they did not have much food so all they at was firecake which was a mix of flour and water. The cold was also very bad causing deaths since the clothing was as thick.

- Another problem they faced was sickness. Over the winter illness grew causing many deaths. It got so bad over half of the soldiers had died or came close to dying. That was until George Washington came up with a idea that included surgeory.

- Training with Baron Fredrick von Steuben
- we will begin training.
- Baron Fredrick von Steuben came in the winter. He helped train the soldiers. Since most of the soldiers had little to no experience. He showed them how to stand up for the British. By the end of winter, the soldiers were now disciplined.
