- Hi, I'm Kim!
- Kim, a bargirl and prostitute, meets Chris, an American G.I. comes to a club in Saigon to unwind. They fall in love shortly after.
- Kim and Chris have a blessing ceremony before they part, when Thuy, Kim's arranged fiance, arrives and is outraged.
- Please....
- Three years later, after Chris had left, Thuy, now a Commissar, comes to kill Kim and Chris' baby. Kim decides to kill Thuy to protect her son.
- When Chris returns to work at the Embassy, he and Kim are separated because Chris is evacuated while she is not.
- Ellen, Chris' American wife, meets Kim at the hotel and refuses to take her son back to America saying that he belongs with Kim.
- Kim commits suicide knowing that her son would have a better life in America with Chris and Ellen.
