- Ever since we won the war that would now be known as the French and Indian War , we got all of France's North American territory. Even though I was happy we won, something felt kind of off, like the calm before a storm. Although I was uneasy, I chose to ignore my feelings and just look forward to seeing my family again back in the Colonies.

- My brother would be coming home soon as the war was over and I was happy. I had heard news a few days before that there was a new British King by the name of George III and townsfolk were making commotion about it. I don't know if it's the new King or the excitement of my brother returning but something felt kind of off. Then it all began with the taxes brought by the new Sugar Act.Even though it made things more expensive I could survive and didn't care too much about it. If only I knew what was coming.

- Myson has been back home for 2 years now and the British have done nothing but bring shame on the names of people like him serving them from the colonies. The Quartering Act was passed a few months ago and British Soldiers that fought for the lands HERE! have been forced into our homes. I tried to get newspapers to learn more about the rubbish the British are doing to our colonies, and I found out that a new act called the Stamp Act Increased the prices of the NEWSPAPERS TOO!
