Today we will be learning about graphs and plots.
This is a circle graph.A circle graph, or a pie chart, is used to visualize information and data. A circle graph is usually used to easily show the results of an investigation in a proportional manner. The arcs of a circle graph are proportional to how many percent of population gave a certain answer.
This is a bar graph.A bar chart is used when you want to show a distribution of data points or perform a comparison of metric values across different subgroups of your data. From a bar chart, we can see which groups are highest or most common, and how other groups compare against the others
The is a dot plot.Dot plots are similar to bar graphs or line graphs, being used for data visualization. These types of charts are used to graphically depict certain data trends or groupings. The Cleveland and Wilkinson dot plots are the two key types of dot plots.
This is a box plot.In descriptive statistics, a box plot or boxplot (also known as box and whisker plot) is a type of chart often used in explanatory data analysis. Box plots visually show the distribution of numerical data and skewness through displaying the data quartiles (or percentiles) and averages.
