- Pineda 1519
- Hi, I'm Pineda from Spain and I went to the coast of Texas in 1519. I was able to map the coast of Texas. In fact, I was the first man to map the coast of Texas.
- Coronado 1540
- Hi, my name is Coronado and I explored the new world and Texas in 1540. I discovered the Palo Duro Canyon, the Grand canyon, and the Pacific Ocean. In the end though, I didn't find any gold or silver, so Spain lost interest in Texas for awhile.
- Cabeza de Vaca 1528
- Hi, I'm Cabeza de Vaca and I am a Spanish explorer. In 1528 I crashed on the coast of Texas in galveston island. The Karawankas helped me by giving me food and shelter. In return, I taught them medical treatments for injuries. In 1536 I went to Mexico Telling stories of the city of gold: Cibola.
- La Salle 1685
- Hi, my name is La Salle, and I started to explore Texas in 1685.I landed in Matagorda bay on my boat, The Belle and built Fort St. Louis. I fought with the Karankawa tribes too. BY 1687 me and 45 surviors from my mission headed out to Canada, but before I could they killed me. This then caused Spain to regain intrest in Texas.
