- The story starts with the main character Agnes Petrella in the early 2000's. As a young adult Agnes posts on a forum about selling an apple peeler. Zoe Cross ends up responding and the two respond to each other through out the whole story.
- Climax
- Agnes and Zoe form a relationship online and a contract. The contact makes Agnes get undressed in public, quite her job, and kill a salamander with her hands just to make sure she earns her eyes. This ends bad though and the two break up.
- Falling Action
- The two get back together and form a new contract. Agnes wants a baby with Zoe but Zoe tells her to carry a tapeworm as a baby. Agnes does it but Zoe leaves her because Agnes actually plans to care and raise the tapeworm as their kid.
- Resolution
- Agnes has the tapeworm and calls it her baby. She tries getting back with Zoe but she doesn't respond. She then emails Zoe for the last time saying that she did not deserve her eyes. She then pops her eyes with an apple peeler and bleeds out.
- Answer Me!
- Zoe gets arrested for causing the death of Agnes. The trail is still being held but with the emails and texts between the two girls the author states that the conclusion is pretty obvious.
- The author ends the story asking for the reader's opinion. They collected the emails, texts, and letters of the trial to see the public's opinion on the trial. Is Zoe guilty or was Agnes the cause of her own death?The answer is up to you.
