  • Jonas' assignment is giving people memories. Basically it is like giving people dreams.
  • Jonas' rules are that he has to report to the back entrance of the annex. His other rule is that after training he has to go straight home. He also may ask any questions and get answers
  • The differences between the givers house and the community is that the givers house is a lot nicer and luxurious. The giver has walls filled with books.
  • The first memory that was transmitted the first day was about snow. It was about sledding and playing in the snow.
  • By the community not allowed to make choices it leaves less room for mistakes. Also Jonas gains wisdom from it.
  • Jonas can now see colors. He also has a special power because he has memories.
