The War of the Roses had been going on for around 32 years and King Richard III was tired of it so they went to Bosworth fields to end this fight to decide who would be the new king.
King Richard lll really did have more soldiers!He had 9000 soldiers whilst Henry only had a measly 5000.
The battle commenced! First, the longbow men shot their bows. Then, the halberdiers and pikemen charged, killing lots of soldiers.
All hail the new king of England!
Richard lll tried to charge at Henry so the battle could just end and his family could be the royal family. But when he tried to charge he missed.
One of Henry's knights knocked Richard off of his horse. Stanley noticed Richard was about to lose the battle so he switched to Henry's team.
All hail King Henry! said Henry VII knights. Richard's body was brought to Lancaster by horse.
