- Confession is when a person goes to the priest and confesses their sins to the priest.

- God forgives you for your sins.
- Through the person of the priest God forgives a person for their sins.

- Absolution
- Pray the our father, and go back to the store you stole from and pay for whatever it was you stole, or if you still have it, return it.
- Absolution is a when the priest gives a specific prayer given by the priest.
