Back in the 1980s a man murdered his whole family, wrapped their bodies up in a sleeping bag, and cut his own face out of every photo. he would make up stuff saying that his family is on vacation when they would call the house, but then he disappeared he left on some of the lights on to not make it obvious, but after a month the lights burn out one by one.
Eventually Someone ended up selling the house even after the murdered, Someone bought it eventually, but they would never decorate the yard with Christmas lights or place boxes of flowers in front of the window. They moved into that home, with all the ghost, but decided to never celebrate living there.
The Donahue family has just moved to the new town and their daughter Janie has become quick friends with their neighbor Olivia.
As they were about to have a nice barbecue, they received a horrifying letter threatening them to leave.
Janie and Olivia began to think about how big the house is and to see how the person writing the letters knows so much about the old house, while looking they happen to find a secret room behind the books.
Olivia, Janie & Ben (Janie's older brother) decide to go down to the library to investigate more on the house, and the people who maybe might be connected after looking, they happen to make a strange discovery and rush back to the house.
