- ARCHIMEDES' PRINCIPLE

- An important factor to this principle is called the Buoyant Force. Buoyant force is the net upward force on any object in any fluid.
- Let's start with defining Archimedes' Principle. Archimedes' principle states that a body immersed in a fluid is subjected to an upwards force equal to the weight of the displaced fluid.
- If the buoyant force is less than the object's weight, the object will sink. Just like the toy car and the toy blocks. If the buoyant force equals the object's weight, the object will remain suspended at that depth. Just like the toy zebra.
- If the buoyant force is greater than the object's weight, the object will rise to the surface and float. Just like what happened to the apple.
