- As a child, I went to 'The Jacobs Elementary School' in Hull, Massachusetts.
- Story I
- In the third grade, I had a good friend named Marcus. We sat next to eachother on the bus every day.
- Marcus and I were not in the same class, but that didn't stop us from making bets with each other. Our goal was to destroy our math book cover more than the other person, without it falling off.
- One day, my teacher decided to move seats. When I moved, I instantly started ripping up my math book. Then, a girl, Kelsey Rose Bannen was seated next to me.
- Kelsey, you sit there...
- Me and this kid, Marcus, have a competition to see who can rip up our math books the most, without ripping off the cover completely.
- What are you doing?
- I can do that, too!
