Why does the apple fall straight down?
As Newton watched as the apple fell down from the tree he wondered why it fell straight down and why not sideways or even straight up, he thought there had to be some kind of forces bringing objects down, he called it gravity.

Newton needed to create a new solution to prove his theories, he built off the work of other mathematicians which allowed him to discover calculus, his discovery of calculus allowed him to explain how the same force that brings an apple to the ground also makes the planets orbit.

This is a telescope i made called the reflecting telescope.
Newton discovered the reflecting telescope by using mirrors instead of lenses which he thought would eliminate the problem of chromatic aberration, he designed the telescope using a curved mirror to focus light and a small secondary mirror to redirect the image to the eyepiece.
