- Good morning class! Our topic for today is about the importance of the atomic particles of atom. We all discussed in our past lesson that atoms are the basic and smallest units of matter and the defining structure of elements. It is the Greek philosopher Democritus who first discovered the idea of the atom. The atom is consists of electrons, protons and neutrons. 
- Now , let us unlock the ATOMIC WORLD and know more about these important elements of atom.
- ATOMIC WORLD
- PROTON+
- My name is Proton. I have a positive charge (+1) and I am located inside the nucleus. I have a relative mass of about 1 amu. They are slightly lighter than the neutron but heavier than the electron.  And this is my purple friend , Electron. 
- Hi, guys, I am electron, I have negative charge (-1). I am located outside the nucleus existing as a cloud orbiting the nucleus. I have a relative mass of 0.00055 amu. You can imagine how tiny and lightweight I am. 
- ELECTRON-
- And I am Nucleus, call me Mr. Green found at the center. I am the small region consisting of Protons and Neutrons. I am positively-charged. Majority of an atom's mass is found inside me. 
- NUCLEUS
- Me.. Me.. Don't forget me.. Hello everyone. I am Neutron and I am gray. I have a neutral charge (0). Like my friend Proton, I am also found inside the nucleus. I have a relative mass of about 1 amu. I am heavier than both Proton and Electron..
- NEUTRON
- Heyyy, Althea.. wake up ..wake up.. you are dreaming and mumbling in your sleep.. It's time for a break..
