Guys, look we did it!!
In this chapter we are told how excited Shackleton and his men were, since they had arrived in Georgia after such a long time, to be more exact eighteen months.
In this chapter, the crew had a difficult time, as they had to choose what to do and there were only two options, the first was to return to sea on a 130-mile journey, but this was too risky and they could not face that. . Shackleton made up his mind as leader and decided to cross South Georgia Island on foot with two men (Worley and Crean). His men had faith in them, he needed to seek help, he couldn't let them down.
In this chapter they tell us how difficult the road was that Shackleton and his men (Worley and Crean) had to cross. They crossed the mountains, the glacears and all the challenges that South Georgia presented to them to reach the Stromess Bay Wahalling station. The idea that their companions were waiting for them gave them the strength to continue and fulfill their promise. When Shackleton and the other men finally arrived quickly, they organized a boat to leave for the island of the elephants.
