  • So you're telling me, while playing football, we'll learn about Newton's three laws?
  • Yeah, I'm gonna give a demonstration, Newton's first law tells that every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion unless a change of state by an external force
  • Hmm, I kinda understand now, but how'll you demonstrate it now?
  • By kicking this football, I'll kick it towards you, and it'll be going in a uniform straight motion, until it'll touch your legs and stop.
  • Oh, now I'm starting to be interesting in this topic, but what are his other two laws?
  • The second law states that Force = Mass X Acceleration, give me back the ball and I'll give a demonstration.
  • So now I have two balls with me, one with lesser mass, and with a higher mass than the other, I'm gonna kick them both to you with the same acceleration and you'll feel the ball with the higher mass having more force then the other ball
  • Wow, like before, you were correct, and now it's time for the last and final law
  • For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. If you kick the ball, the ball “kicks” back, but you won't feel the response because your leg has more mass and force than the ball.
  • Oh wow, you've been really helpful today Samantha, I've now learned about Newton's Laws of motion
  • Great to be of help today Jackson!
