- The big reveal
- Percy's math teacher Ms. Dodds tells to come with her and to confess. Ms. Dodds turns into a horrible creature and tries to kill him. Mr. Brunner, Percy's Latin teacher throws him a pen and the pen turns into a sword. Percy hits her and she explodes into gold powder. This was the first time Percy fights a monster. .
- The underworld visit...
- Sally Jackson, Percy's mother tells him he needs to go to a summer camp because it's not safe anymore. They are in the car going down dark rodes. The next thing you know the car crashes and Grover is injured. A huge minotaur appears. The monster grabs Sally and closes his fists, Sally disappears in a flash golden light.
- Ares vs Percy
- Grover and Percy finally arrive to Camp Half-Blood. They meet an inteligent girl name Annabeth. During a capture the flag game, Poseidon claims Percy as his son. People are schocked, the Gods are mad, and worst of all Percy has to finish the task that will prevent a war.
- The Olympus
- Annabeth, Percy, and Grover finally get to Hades's home. They were all shocked when Hades anounces he did not steal the bolt, and that someone stole his helm of darkness.
- Ares is trying to kill Percy to prevent him from taking the bolt to the Olympus. Percy challenges Ares to a duet. Annabeth gives Percy her neckles of camp beads and Grover gives him a flattended tin can. Percy manages to injure Ares. Ms. Dodds appears, Percy gives her the Helm of Darkness.
- Percy enters the throne room seeing Poseiodn and Zeus. Percy returns the lighting bolt to Zeus. Zeus thanks him and leaves, Percy is left with his father. Poseidon explains him that insidethe pit there is Kronos the Gods father. He also tells him that is mother is still alive, because he returned the Helm of Darkness to Hades.
