- The country name is South Korea. The flag of South Korea is also known as Taegeukgi. One of the famous iconic places is Daegu. It is a city in South Korea. It is the third largest urban agglomeration in Korea after Seoul and Busan.

- In 1910, Japan colonized Korea. Japan colonized Korea because they wanted to trade with other countries. By having a colonized country, it will expand their trading route.
