- Black wall street was a nice rich black town with black-owned businesses. Black people were becoming wealthy.
- As black wall street grew the more jealous the white people got because they didn't like the fact that black people were becoming wealthy. They were so mad that they formed a white mob and stormed down to Black Wallstreet and burned down their businesses and homes.
- 300 people died that day but Black Wallstreet didn't stop thriving they rebuilt black wall street and went back to thriving but it took some time. People would try and stop them from rebuilding. they had a lot of lawsuits, there were problems with fire insurance and fire ordinances. black tulsans couldn't even get access to the justice system but they found a way and did it.
