  • Benny & His Detectives Play Hide and Seek
  • The nice kids in the neighborhood tell Benny about how they have been bullied by the mean kids. Benny decides to send out detectives to search for the mean kids so that he does not have to. Benny plans to let the detectives find the mean kids and then Benny will tell their parents and cause them to be in trouble.

  • One day, when the kids run away and hide from Benny, he sends out his detectives. The detectives search all day. They search day and night, high and low, yet they do not find any sign of children. The detectives begin to lose hope that they will find the kids that have been bullying everyone.
  • Benny is new to the neighborhood. He wants to make new friends so that he can fit in. Some of the kids in the neighborhood run and hide from him whenever he comes out to play, so Benny has made it his mission to find the mean kids and tell on them.
  • Eventually, the detectives start to look for clues that lead them to the mean kids. They question the nice kids in the neighborhood to gain information. Some of the clues the detectives find are not very good ones and lead them down the wrong path.
  • The detectives use one of the stories they had been told by another kid in the neighborhood. The young girl told the detectives that she had seen one of the bullies running down the street past Benny’s house. After thinking about what the girl said, the detectives go all the way down the street and find one of the mean kids named Adolf behind a fence. Adolf had been forcing the other kids in the neighborhood to go into a corner for timeout.
  • Adolf had been in hiding ever since the detectives were first hired. The detectives hand Adolf over to Benny so that Benny can go and tell Adolf’s mommy about the awful things Adolf had done. Now, it is time for the detectives to keep working and find the three other bullies.
  • The detectives go into their secret room to talk about their plan to catch the mean kids. They search through videos and photos from the hidden cameras they placed throughout the entire neighborhood. Luckily, they came across a blurry image of two young boys running into the forest behind Benny’s house. At sunrise, the detectives will set out to search for the children from the photo to see if the boys are the kids that have been bullying others.
  • The sun rises, but the detectives have overslept! When they wake up, they panic because now, the boys might have moved from the forest to somewhere else. The detectives are scared that they have given the two young boys too much time to escape. Once the detectives get ready, they go out to the forest behind Benny’s house and see that there are no children there anymore. Their trail to the rest of the bullies has gone cold.
  • Now that the detectives’ mission has become much harder, they must look for help. The detectives bring in their hounds that have an amazing sense of smell. These hounds will help the detectives track down the two young boys. The detectives take the hounds down to the forest behind Benny’s house and set the dogs loose so they can sniff out the trail of the boys.
  • After some time, the hounds start to bark which signaled to the detectives that the hounds have found the trail that the two boys took. The dogs lead the detectives straight to the young boys who were hiding out in the trees. The boys’ names were Klaus and Josef. Klaus had been tickling the other kids in the neighborhood until they could not stand it any longer. However, Josef forced other kids to drink special medicines he made from pond water and acorns.
  • The detectives capture Klaus and Josef. The bullies are handed over to Benny, and he takes them to their parents and makes them confess to all of the bad things they had done. Klaus and Josef are now grounded, put in timeout for thirty minutes, and given 10 licks each by their parents.
  • There is one more bully left. The detectives take a rest day so that they can have fresh minds while hunting down the last bully. On their rest day, all of the detectives decide to take a walk around the neighborhood. To their surprise, the last bully is taking a walk as well. The detectives stop the young boy and speak with him. He tells them that he believes he has done nothing wrong. However, the detectives know that the boy has done plenty of bad things to the other kids. His name is Martin. Martin was the mean kid that was behind all of the bullyings. He was the one that came up with their evil plans. The detectives capture Martin and take him to Benny.
  • Benny takes Martin to his mommy and daddy. When Martin’s parents find out about his bullying, they send him to boarding school in Vermont. Now, the neighborhood is free of bullies and Benny has a lot of friends. Benny and his detectives have saved the day!
