- Scientists like my friend and I work in labs like this, to create species of animals that we choose!
- Artificial selection is when scientists choose what animals or plants survive to create optimal species for their environment. Whichever species of animal the scientists choose, they make a baby!
- Right now I'm helping to select the cells from a bird in Queensland and help it to breed with a bird from Victoria! This is artificial selection.
- I helped ensuring the survival of the pacific parolett by helping it to adapt to its environment.
- That's how artificial selection works! We breed 2 compatible animals together to help them survive and adapt!
