The Dangerous Button

I made changes to Mr. Steward and Arthur. I made Arthur a dog and Mr. Steward a gremlin to make the story a little more interesting. I then changed how Norma and Mr. Steward meet, when they both interact at the park, and end up pressing the button a ton of times. After that, Mr. Steward dies, and Norma thinks she killed everyone in the world. I did this to create lots of suspense. After this, she looks through town and does not find anyone. She tries one last spot, which is her favorite restaurant, and finds all her friends singing happy birthday to her. This was to create a happy ending. After all this suspense, she forgot it was her birthday, and all her friends and family were there to sing with her.
