- Excelling in academics is not just her thing, she is also doing excellently in volleyball. She has very supportive teammates and coaches. She didn’t adjust that much because she was very easy and accommodating to be with. Everybody liked her because of her pleasing and jolly personality inside the team. However, during her training practices, she got injured which challenged her emotionally, mentally, and physically.
- BROTHER

- Mental health issues were experienced by her. She felt worthless and tired even though she didn’t do anything. She’s not eager and willing to explore herself anymore. She even didn’teat or talk to other people. She wanted to be alone which caused her to develop depression.
- RISE
- LABAN LANG!

- She remembered all the reasons behind her journey, her little brother and her dead parents. She remembered all the memories of her family. She kept on reminding herself about her promise to her little brother, that they will survive this given challenge to them. Her parents and her little brother served as her foundation and inspiration.
- SUCCESS
- It took a while for her to contact her little brother since that she was saving and budgeting her money. They were so excited, and happy and shared some stories. They talked about the positive ones, but never shared the problems and challenges that were experienced by them. They pushed one another and served as each other’s inspiration.
- She fought her depression and continued her journey. Her friend, teammates, and little brother served as the pillars and reasons why she chose to rise. Without their guidance and support, it will be very difficult and impossible for her to reach her goals. She will not be who she is today without them.
- The time has come that she graduated with flying colors. How she wished that her parents were there, seeing what they have missed. A proud student-athlete who did her very best just to ensure and secure her future and her little brother’s. Without the opportunity, everything would be impossible. She grabbed it and nailed it!
