- Romulus and Remus were born. Their mother was Rhea Sylvia and their father was Mars, the God of war.
- The Kings brother Amilius was jealous and wanted the throne for himself.
- When Romulus and Remus were born, Amilius ordered a servant to throw the twins intothe river. But the servant couldn't do it. Instead the servant placed them in abasket, hoping that someone would find them.
- Eventually a she-wolf rescued them and raised them as her own. She cared for them until a Shepard to them home and named them Romulus and Remus.
- Years later Romulus was captured by Amilius, the king. Remus freed his brother and killed the king.
- Instead of becoming king, Romulus and Remus set out to find land to build a city on. They fought and Romulus killed his brother. He built his city and called it, Rome.
