- I can poison her with this!
- Y-yes
- I see you have brought the water.
- Iractus was feeling hopeless on the way home, when suddenly...
- Is she dead?
- he came across a belladonna plant which struck him with an idea like lightning. Iractus would poison the old woman, take the ring, and flee the forest. It was perfect!
- I am Artemis, and that is my ring!
- Give it to me now!
- The next day, he gave her the "immortal water" that was spiked with belladonna. For some reason, Iractus found himself slightly afraid of the old woman.
- You tried to poison me, so you will be gone instead!
- The old woman drank all the water and slumped to the floor like a dead weight, shaking, but suddenly stopped just as Iractus grabbed the ring off of the ground.
- The old woman became someone else entirely, and she towered over him. Fear took hold of Iractus and all he could think of was to run, but he didn't know where, so he jumped into the stream.
- Uhm, ok...
- But just as he started swimming, Artemis turned him into water, so that he would always be trying to escape her and his mistake. And that why rivers flow, forever trying to get away from a mighty goddess.
