- He wasn't anywhere near it. It started all by itself.
- How come his car just up and started like that.
- Rising Action
- A boy named Tommy stood outside, witnessing a bright flash over top of him, watching as it drifted off into the distance, disappearing behind the rooftops.
- Climax
- Confused people joined outside after what had happened. Small and mild voices muttered and stated what was wrong in their town.
- Falling Action
- Out of nowhere, Goodman's car started up without anyone being anywhere near it. People were confused and started to question Les Goodman. People thought that since his was the only car that started and the only thing that was working, he was not like the others.
- Resolution
- After Charlie shot, people became more questioning about each other. Most at Charlie. They thought this since not only did he shoot Pete Van Horn, he started talking about the kid, Tommy, and about how he knew what had happened.
- I didn't mean to!
- People start questioning more after Charlie shot Pete Van Horn. Charlie starting defending himself, saying he did it for his own protection. He said he shot because he was confused, and didn't know if it was a monster or not. This made people more confused and question him.
- Why did the lights go on.
- Maple street
- I tell you, it's the kid.
- Get Steve - Get Charlie.
- People came together, came together to argue and solve what had happened. They had many solutions, Tommy, Charlie, and Steve. These could all work, all of it could be solved if they got the right person, at first they thought it was Tommy because he knew what was going on, then it was Charlie because he shot someone. But then it occurred#160;to them that Charlie and Steve may have been working together.
