  • Mr. White and Herbert were playing chess during a cold and wet night. Ms. White lets Sergeant-Major Morris into the house and they start talking to each other.
  • Climax
  • "You have two more wishes.Wish for I are son to be alive again."
  • Mr. White saves the Monkey's Pawform the fire. Morris tells the old man not to mess with it and encourages Mr. White to destroy the evil paw at once. The conflict is between Mr. white and The Monkey's Paw. Mr. White's curiosity gets the best of him, and he keeps the Monkey's Paw.
  • Falling Action
  • When Morris throws the Monkey's Paw in the fire. Mr. White takes the paw out of the fire and makes a wish. He wishes for two hundred pounds, which results in his son's tragic death. After his son's death they receive 200 pounds for his death. That event proves that the Monkey's Paw is a curse.
  • Resolution 
  • Ms. White makes her husband wishes for their son to be back alive. Herbert starts knocking on the door and Mr. White regrets his wish and which makes the knocking stopped.
  • Ms. White is struggling to get to the door, but Mr.White lets go of her to go look for the Monkey's Paw to make his third wish. She breaks free and gets to the door.
  • Ms. White is struggling to open the door. Mr.White finds the Monkey's Paw and makes his third wish. When Ms. White finally opens the door the knocking has stopped and no one was there.
  • Herbert!!!!
