- Sarah is a field interviewer at the U-M Survey Research Center.
- She starts her workday by reviewing her scheduled appts for Iws, checking her U-M e-mail and U-M cell phone and Send/Receive.
- Sarah plans a route to visit as many of the households assigned to her as possible, on the way to and from her scheduled appointments.
- Sarah packs her bag for the day, respondent documents, supplies, cash, snack and water
- Sarah heads out wearing her U-M logo sweater over a button-down shirt and black pants.
- She will be working inside several different homes during the day, so it helps to wear layers to stay comfortable with the different temperatures she may encounter.
- Sarah will need to walk several blocks and up and down stairs carrying her laptop and other equipment on her way to survey participants’ homes.
