- I'm Enzo and that is Laiken we are here to talk about what we have learned about visual impairment!
- Well the first thing we learned was that legal blindness is when people are partially blind and cannot see things far away.

- Amblyopia is reduced vision in one eye caused by lack of use in early childhood it is known as “Lazy Eye”.
- Congenital blindness is when babies are visually impaired at birth.
- Cataracts prevent light from easily passing through the lens through cloudy areas in the eye which causes loss of vision.
- Glaucoma is pressure inside the eye. The increased pressure damages the optic nerve and impairs vision.
