Okay! There's also something called the Artic and Antarctic Circles. Sometimes the sun is up 24 hours part of the year in these regions. During Summer in the Northern hemisphere (Artic circle), the sun is up highest in the sky, which results in the sun always being above the horizon at the artic circle (24hr sunlight). When it's summer in the Southern hemisphere, the Antarctic circle receives 24 hour sunlight as well because the sun is up highest in the sky due to the angle of the southern hemisphere. The sun doesn't go below the horizon, resulting in 24 hour sunlight.
Of course! There's also something called the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn. In these regions there are only 2 long seasons, a dry and wet one. Wet seasons happen because there is a zone of warm, moist air near the equator which leads to heavy rainfall, as the zone moves North and South. When the zone is overhead, it results in rainy weather. When it moves away, the weather is dryer, bringing less rain.
