- Saul was on his way to go to the high priest and find letters of the Lord's holy people to arrest them for preaching his work when light is shone upon him. God told him to go to the city and blinded him.
- Ananias unblinded him and told God about his actions. God told him to make him experience suffering, and Ananias took Saul to his home.
- Ananias gave Saul the Holy Spirit and healed him, and he was baptised.
