The Prodigal Son

- Slide: 1
- One day, in sunny massachussets, in the west worth family home, something big was about to happen.
- Slide: 2
- Mr. Westworth was a wealthy real estate developer and owner. His two sons, Jeremy and Edward had worked for his company since they were 20.
- Dad, I want my Inheritance. I'm tired of working for the future.
- Very well, my son.
- However, on this fateful day, the younger son, Jeremy decided he was done working towards his inheritance and wanted it now. So, it was given to him.

- Almost immediately, Jeremy bought a ticket to Miami. He wanted to go elsewhere, start a new life alone, and have his freedom.
- Slide: 4
- Jeremy had arrived in Miami, ready to start his new life. He was alone, had total freedom and no one to tell him what to do.
- Slide: 5
- Man, this is WAY better than back home.
- At first Miami was super fun. Partying, girls, lots of friends. It seemed like life was at its best.
- Slide: 6
- Yet, slowly but surely Jimmy started to go downhill. Not all at first. Expensive drinks, constant partying, gambling.
- Slide: 7
- Yet one fateful day it all came to a head. Jeremy received terrible news.
- "Jimmy I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this but you have next to NOTHING in your account. You're BROKE!
- Slide: 8
- Eventually, he managed to get a job taking out a diners' trash. It wasn't the life he was used to though. He barely had enough for rent of his new, run-down apartment.
- Slide: 9
- I've had it. I'm going back. Even if I have to work at the lowest position in the company. I've had it here!
- But when he lost his job, and the bank took all that he still had, he broke down. He missed the life he had, his home in Massachusetts, his family.
- Slide: 10
- And so, Jeremy flew back to Massachusetts, got on a bus and headed back to the Westworths'.

- Jeremy had rehearsed a speech. He didn't expect anything. He was ready to beg. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.

- Oh Jeremy, I'm not mad at you. I'm happy you're back. You're MY SON. I will always love you
- Dad, aren't you mad, I lost everything.
- Slide: 13
- Quick! Bring the best suit I have, make reservations for dinner, we need to celebrate!
- Slide: 14
- Edward, however didn't understand why this had happened.
- I don't get it dad, how come he leaves and comes back and you immediately accept him? I've been here the whole time!
- My son, you are always with me, and everything I have is yours.
- But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.

- And so, the family was reunited. The son had returned home. Where he belonged. THE END.
