After the teacher submitted the grades, Petunia realized she did not do as well on the test as she was anticipating.
OMG! I only did so horrible because the teacher didn't teach well enough and the instructions on the test were SO unclear!
Because of this, she tried to rationalize the situation by blaming her teacher for not teaching the material well enough as opposed to accepting the fact she did poorly because of her lack of studying.
