- Hamlet makes Ophelia believe that he is crazy so she runs to her father to tell him the news of his apparent madness
- Embarrass
- The king talks to hamlets best friends and asks them to spy on him and find out what's wrong.
- Madness
- Polonius talks to the king about the fact that he believes that Hamlet is mad because of his love for Ophelia
- Sadness
- Polonius makes Ophelia read a love letter by hamlet to the king and queen and embarrasses her and she runs away crying
- Polonius talks to hamlet while he pretends to be mad so they will not suspect of his plot and plans.
- Hamlet talks o his friends and tells hem that he is depressed and does not want to do the same things anymore and wants a change.
