Good day everyone! we are gathered here today to listen to the discussion of two students about what they think is better, MariaDB or MySQL.
I think MariaDB is a very good database because it is free and open source. also, its compatibility is the best and the files can be migrated without meeting any crushes.

MySQL is the second ranking RDBMS solution in the world according to DB Engines. Besides, MySQL is globally renowned for being the most secure and reliable DBMS.
MariaDB is supported by many data types such as String, Numeric, and Date and Time data types which makes it more easier for the users to edit their database.
MySQL is first published by the author of MariaDB, which means that the features of MariaDB, like its commands and functions are based on the features of MySQL.
