In the beginning, Coyote traveled all around the world. He has done many wonderful things. Coyote has killed many evil spirits that prayed on others.

He created Indians and put them in tribes all over because Old Man Above wanted all of Earth to be inhabited.

Coyote gave everyone names and taught them different languages along with teaching them how to eat, hunt, and make a good lodge, and many more essential things in life.
Even though, Coyote was very wise and powerful he still made mistakes quite often. He loved to play tricks. Tricks that would get him killed many times, to the point the Fox and birds got tired of bringing him back to life.
One day the Great Spirit came down in the shape of an old man to meet Coyote and tell him his services were no longer needed on Earth. He then makes Coyote disappear never to be seen again.
