- Bill of Rights Movie (BOR)
- So we are all wondering for the fans back home. What's going to happen in your new Bill of Rights movie, Venessa?
- The BOR movie is the transformation from the older movie in 1791 where all ten amendments were filmed, where we are only filming five. Such as the 1st amendment, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and the 6th.
- 2nd Amenedment
- So in the first scene me and my cousin race to the police station trying to report a body. It was a body from one of the kids we also shared a room with. It looked like someone had shot them. Before we ran to the station I grabbed a hand gun from the safe to protect ourselves if we ran into the bad guy on the way. We used the 2nd Amendment because we all have the right to protect ourselfs from danger.
- Oh wow!
- 3rd and 6th Amendment
- Oh noo!!
- I remebered that next door we had a couple that was hiding a soldier in their dorm room because it was against the law and the administration would be very upset. Then they would kick them out and they would have to go to the jury house. I thought he had something to do with the encounter...
- Can you please explain what a Jury is in the 6th amendment for our viewers watching?
- Oh of course! A jury is a community that votes on if they think your claim you made is correct/incorrect. But in the 6th amendment it's the right to a speedy trial which can be accessed as soon as you need.
- 4th Amendment
- I see how that works.
- At the station we had reported the body, and started to head back to the dorm. The chief asked if he could come with us to search the rest of the dorm for clues. We told him he could since it was for the case of who killed our roomate. If we hadn't given him permission it would have violated the 4th amendment
- 1st Amendment
- Well that sounds like a great movie, I'll have to watch it.
- And before I give too much away the last thing he told us was, that we couldn't tell any one about what was going to happen to us and the body. Even though the very first amendment is the freedom of speech we were not allowed to talk about what we were going to see.
