The Surgeon wants to counter offer, but Matthew does not want to hear such a poor counter offer. Instead he gleefully walks away with his full sized longship to find his next offeree.

The sick child is so excited and finds that it's such a good deal that he counter offers for $2 million and Matthew accepts the counter offer.
The child leaves the country in his boat while Matthew holds the huge stack of the money he mad in his hand.
