- Mexico encourages foreigners to buy land in Texas with a $30 down payment.
- Austin Imprisoned
- Mexican laws prohibiting slaves in Texas were being ignored. Causing Mexico to encourage more Mexicans to migrate there.
- War Begins
- No!!!
- Due to the possibility of the Mexican government losing control of Texas, they banned further US immigrants from migrating to Texas.
- Mexican Government
- Stephen F. Austin gets imprisoned for a suspicion that he was involved in inciting insurrection.
- Texans refused to return a cannon loaned to them by Mexico, the start of a war
- Hand over the cannon!
