Hi, I'm Miharu from Japan. I have been working in an international trade and investment company in Tokyo for 10 years, after learning international management in my undergraduate. For the last three years, I was working in a carbon credit marketing and sales role and noticed that a climate change-related job, not simply making profits, but also giving a positive impact on the environment and community, gives me a reason to work.

CLIENT: We have set a carbon-neutral target by 2050, but to be honest, there is currently no feasible action plan after 2030, as our target heavily relies on implementing clean energy.

To be a decarbonization solution specialist, it is crucial to understand project financing of clean energy, such as building financial models, preparing budgets, and using scenario analysis to create feasible action plans. This is because the skill develops a good sense in me to spot important checkpoints to judge whether a financial model is trustworthy and where risk may lie.
