- So they thought it would be smart to not allow any foreigners or religeous that was was not there own.

- Thats not all any ship that went by was destoryed and if someone left Japan they would not be aloud back in

- This was really smart to isolate Japan because it made sure that the Shogun kept their power and there were no threats to it.
