- Well Billy let's just start off with what the immune system is
- Immunity is the capability of multicellular organisms to resist harmful microorganisms. The first line of defence is the surface barriers that prevent the entry of pathogens into the body. The immune system is a complex network of cells and proteins that defends the body against infection.
- IMMUNE SYSTEM
- The Immune System is made up of special organs, cells and chemicals that fight off infection

- IMMUNE SYSTEM
- How does the immune system fight off the infection?
- 1st Line of defence: The surface barriers that prevent the entry of pathogens into the body
- 2nd Line of defence: Group of cells, tissues and organs that work together to protect the body
- 3rd Line of defence: Specific immune response. The specific immune response creates antibodies. Specific antibodies are produced to combat the pathogens.
