we learn Pweto got his injuries because when he was playing with a baby bonobo the baby slipped and died and the pink ladies attracted him.

The Kata kata were attacking and a officer and the peacekeepers were trying to catch Sophie but she went in to the enclosure and climbed a tree and saw the Kata kate killing people and burning down there houses.
Sophie and Otto go to were the bonobos are and to survive she does what the bonobos were doing so she tries to make a nest in a tree but has a hard time but Mushie made her one to sleep in.
each day Sophie climbed up a tree and checked what the Kata kata were doing but one night tery got drunk and yelled for Sophie and the bonobos for meat.
