- Jonas and his family are doing there daily routine of feeling sharing. Jonas talks about how his feelings are complicated with the ceremony of 12 coming up.
- Jonas's mom and dad try to comfort Jonas about the ceremony of 12. They explain how it all worked out for them and the jobs they looked forward to they got but Jonas does not know what he is gonna be.
- Jonas was helping the elders bath. The elder was talking about they dont know what happens when people get realeased.
- This was the apple that Jonas was talking about where it changed in mid air.
- Jonas was watching as all the younger kids in his community receive their rewards.
- Jonas is the last one to get his assignment. Jonas's assignment is the receiver of memories.
